  Where: Fromagerie Fritz Kaiser What: Lots and lots of cheese How was it: The drive from Montreal downtown is great, as long as you take the scenic route not the main highways. Make sure you have time during your day because you will need it. Two out of three visits there, we had at least 30 people in front of us. This place is consistently packed and just when you think the line is going down, more people arrive. Make sure to grab your ticket right at the entrance, otherwise you may lose a couple of places in line. It's all worth it in the end. Even if you don't know their cheeses, which is normal, you can sample some from the counter. Everyone there is super nice and will gladly help you find the cheeses you love. The Douanier is quite good, the smoked one and the Emperor. They are all good, just depends if you prefer a lighter or stronger cheese. Grade: Eli = 5, Serge = 5 Recommend: Very much, cheese please !

  This is one of my favorite cheese producers in the world. Their raclette cheese is better than award winning raclette cheese I've tasted in Europe. Prices are slightly lower than what you would pay in a grocery shop or cheese specialist but it is worth it. My favorites are the raclette cheeses but the Saint Paulin makes a fine sandwich.

  Many cheeses to choose from. I found the prices to be about what we spent at the Atwater Market in Montreal. If you're heading back to the states - it's an easy stop with a friendly staff.
